About Us
The Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills was admitted to membership in Rotary International on November 17, 2011. The Club currently has 8 members, of which 6 are Paul Harris Fellows.
The general membership can be described as a very diverse and unique group of professionals who are bound by a common thread of compassion for the less fortunate and belief in the values of humanitarian and volunteer service.
The Club serves the Chino Hills area while also supporting international projects through Rotary partnerships.
A major focus of the club is community service. The Club adopted a stretch of Grand Avenue from Monteverde Drive to Founders Drive and works with Chino Hills Boy Scout Troop #1776 on monthly roadside cleanups. It has also supported local education and youth programs, including donations to the Ayala High School Band and Color Guard, Ayala High School Music Choir, Townsend Junior High School, Wickman Elementary School.
The club is also known for its Multicultural Festival, typically held in April at the Chino Hills Community Center. The event celebrates the cultural diversity of Southern California through food, dress, music, dance, and performances, while raising funds for local and international service projects.
Internationally, the club has supported health and humanitarian initiatives, including a 2024 Rotary Global Grant with the Rotary Club of Cavite Centro in the Philippines to fund a Lifeline ambulance for General Trias Medicare Hospital. Its foundation has also supported rabies vaccination and eradication efforts, medical missions, education, cultural programs, and Rotary Foundation projects.
The club also sponsors youth leadership through Interact Clubs at Ayala High School and Chino Hills High School, helping students build leadership skills and participate in community service projects.
In short, the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills is a small but active civic club focused on education, cultural understanding, local beautification, youth leadership, public health, and international humanitarian service.
On June 16, 2026 at the Club's dinner meeting in The Bistro, Boys Republic Chino Hills, D5300 Area Governor Mack Moore installed the new club officers for the RY 2026-2027 and D5300 PDG Raghada Khoury inducted two new Rotarians.
