Rotarian Ginny Mondonedo was installed as the Club President for RY 2026-2027 at the Installation of New Club Officers Dinner on Tuesday, June 16, at The Bistro, Boys Republic Chino Hills.

Pia Garrido

Pia Garrido has been a resident of Chino Hills for 38 years. She lives in her own home with her husband Richard Garrido where they raised their sons Patrick & Brian Garrido.

Pia graduated Summa cum Laude, BA major in Economics from Colegion de San Juan de Letran, Manila, Philippines in 1975 and completed her masters in Ateneo de Manila University, Manila, Philippines in 1982.

Pia is currently retired after having been an Information Technology professional for almost 35 years. Her last professional post was at Skechers where she was an IT Project Manager.

Pia is a parishioner of St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Chino Hills where she serves as a Eucharistic Minister and a Catechist.

Having time sequestered at home during Covid, she discovered her love of cooking and baking. She is an avid follower of major medical institutions advocating for healthy longevity through proactive lifestyle changes; medications being the solution of last resort. For the youth, she advocates for literacy as a strong tool towards cognitive and emotional growth to remain resilient as they navigate the reality of their world. This is one of the reasons why she joined Rotary, to get involved with such programs.

Menchie Serrano

Menchie Serrano retired in 2022 after a 36-year career with KPMG LLP, where she served as Manager of Operations Services. In that role she led operations initiatives and managed projects from planning through implementation, bringing organization and a steady hand to complex works.

Menchie has been married for 44 years and is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother of two. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Lynn Fruto and Tessie Lightholder were inducted as the club's honorary members by D5300 DG Dennis Franklin at the club's dinner meeting on Tuesday, August 4, at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center. Lynn and Tessie were recognized for their support of Rotary.
