On November 17, 2022, the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills Foundation presented a check donation to the Bakery Apprenticeship Program of the Boys Republic Chino Hills.  The Bakery Apprenticeship Program is a paid continuing education program that encourages Boys Republic students to acquire the skills, resources and tools necessary to secure work in the bakery trade.  These students learn the science and baking techniques, and operate the state of the art baking equipment in the school’s bakery. This experience will give them a decided advantage when searching for employment in the baking field upon graduation from the school.

This is the second year that the Club has donated to this educational program.  The Club anticipates that this program will be one of its yearly community service projects.
