History of the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills
 
The Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills (RCGCH) was admitted to membership to the Rotary International on November 17, 2011.  The Club belongs to District 5300 which has 67 clubs and approximately 2,400 members.
 
RCGCH currently has 6 members.  On its second year, the Club had 1 Paul Harris Fellow and 7 Rotary Foundation Sustaining Members among its membership.  The general membership can be described as a very diverse and unique group of professionals who are bound by a common thread of compassion for the less fortunate and belief in the values of humanitarian and volunteer service.
 
On November 18, 2017, 7 club members were awarded their Paul Harris Fellow Certificates.  In 2021, 3 club members were awarded their Paul Harris Fellow Certificates.
 
At present, the Club is 100% Paul Harris Fellow Certificate holders.
 
The Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills was awarded by District 5300 the following distinctions:

Chino Hills COGA Grant Award
During the August 14 Club dinner meeting, City of Chino Hills Council Member Peter Rogers presented a $1,000.00 award from the City of Chino Hills Community Organization Grant Funding (COGA) Program.  The City of Chino Hills created the program to give back to the organizations in the City that commit to enhancing the quality of life for Chino Hills residents.  This is the second year that the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills was awarded a COGA Grant for hosting an annual Multicultural Festival, a cultural event that promotes and enhances the diversity of residents of Chino Hills and surrounding communities.
