Global Grant LIFELINE AMBULANCE
The Global Grant LIFELINE AMBULANCE, approved in March 2024, funded an ambulance for General Trias Medicare Hospital in the Philippines. The grant project was submitted by the Rotary Club of Cavite Centro (Host) and the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills (International Partner).
The Lifeline Global Grant is a humanitarian project that provided an ambulance for use in General Trias City, Cavite, Philippines. The total population of General Trias City is 450,583 to date. General Trias Medicare Hospital has only one ambulance serving the people in the city. There was an urgent need for an additional ambulance for this hospital because their existing ambulance cannot meet the demand for emergency and urgent patient care response.

Typhoon Haiyan Relief Project
Typhoon Haiyan, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the strongest tropical typhoons ever recorded. It devastated portions of Southeast Asia on November 8, 2013. It caused catastrophic destruction in the Visayas region of the Philippines, particularly Samar and Leyte. According to UN officials about 11 million people have been affected, many of them have been left homeless.
The Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills organized a relief project to collect clothes and household items and ship these to the Rotary clubs in the typhoon ravaged communities in the Visayas. The club sent about 50 large boxes to the Rotary clubs in the Philippines for distribution to the community.

Matching Grant between the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills and the Rotary Club of Diliman North
In 2012 the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills (RI-District 5300) and the Rotary Club of Diliman North (RI-District 3780) obtained a Matching Grant which provided for 24 brand new computers to the Pasong Tamo Elementary School and Culiat Elementary School in Metro Manila, Philippines. This grant, completed on June 2012, benefited approximately 5,000 students. The total cost of the project which was funded collaboratively by the Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills, Rotary Club of Diliman North and the Rotary Foundation was $12,000.
The grant promoted Literacy, one of the major areas of focus of Rotary International.
District Simplified Grant
The Rotary Club of Greater Chino Hills, through a District Simplified Grant, donated 20 boxes of used books to the Rotary Club of Davao South, Philippines in February 2012. These books were distributed to the local schools in the area.
The grant was part of the Club's Literacy Program.
